· An evidence-based program designed to strengthen parent-child relationships by promoting self-worth, empathy, secure attachment, and positive discipline. · It includes 10 sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours, and guides parents on understanding age-appropriate developmental expectations to create a supportive home environment. · Parenting classes will cover key principles important to DFPS (Child Protective Services), including: o Understanding child development and setting realistic expectations. o Using non-aggressive, appropriate discipline methods. o Identifying and leveraging parenting strengths. o Learning ways to deal with stress and anger. o Accessing local resources for family support. o Building connections with other parents for mutual support. · How to Register? o Submit a 2054 or Purchase Order and referral. o Send a referral email to cfspreferrals@cfpsonline.com. o We will contact the client about available sessions. |
