Frequently Asked Questions

A:  You and your child will meet with the doctor, complete paperwork, computer based testing and face to face interaction with the doctor. Expect to spend about 2-3 hours with us on the day of testing.

Note: All testing is completed on the first appointment. The doctor will contact you if further testing is needed.

A: No. Taking medications prior to an appointment could affect their testing results, especially if they’re being tested for ADHD. If the child is experiencing symptoms such as hyperactivity and impulsivity, it is helpful to see those symptoms in office.

A: Yes, we do, however, insurances won’t cover this testing because public school districts provide this service for free. For a price estimate please contact us at 817-533-0825.

A:  Most reports are available 2 -3 weeks after the appointment. All forms including teacher forms and any forms taken home must be returned in a timely manner or the report will be delayed or incomplete.
